Cool read! Options MD feels like it really hits a pain point for people - I hear plenty of stories of people feeling like they have no options, and having a website which details all the alternatives + 1wk booking is awesome.
Makes me wonder why equivalents, beyond your typical telehealth, don't exist in ANZ (as far as I'm aware) - I'd assume insufficient market size/less mature tech capacity?
That's right. And even more than just a site with alternatives, having a care coordinator to hold your hand through the process of evaluating these alternatives, finding providers etc. is super valuable.
I'm not sure about that trend in ANZ. Perhaps because it's a largely government funded market, there is less funding to support it? But then, we do have people paying $30k out of pocket for Psychedelic Assisted Therapy.... so maybe it's an opportunity in the region - especially considering the wide range of treatments that are now available here (including PAT)
